Welcome
Situated in Lurg, DARC offers instruction, tuition and training. We specialise in the Danish Training System adapted to our Australian riders. We aim to help the rider and horse to achieving harmony and excellence. This unique system has proved both popular and successful here in Australia. We aim on helping the individual horse & rider to establish correct balance to enhance their full potential, creating a routine to help the horse & rider stay relaxed, build strength and progress.
Meet Our Team
Donald McCulloch
Donald took his riding apprenticeship at the Danish Riding Federation under instruction of Per Skærbæk (Priess Stutteri) in Denmark, Graduating 2nd year of the DRF Berider at Vilhelmsborg and spending a total of 6 years riding, competing, coaching & training in DK. Donald enjoys establishing the foundations of riding and horse development for strength, confidence, competition & the rider wishing to progress their skills.
Camilla Hansen
Camilla grew up with horses and from a young age made her impact on the Danish riding scene. Achieving Danish State Champion for pony dressage at an early age she expanded her career and spent 6 months training under Per Skærbæk were she trained her recently imported Danish Warmblood – Cajun Bird to Prix St. George. With a succession of competition titles on a variety of horses, Camilla currently competes & resides in Australia, specialising in dressage and establishing horses for the competition ring.
